ACT Nurses’ Day
2012 marks the 19th Annual ACT Nurses’ Day, October 5, 2012, at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix. Tailored to today’s cardiovascular nurse and healthcare professional, this CEU event covers a wide range of topics including acute stroke and carotid disease, acute MI and coronary disease, arrhythmia, structural heart disease, heart failure, aortic aneurysm, and peripheral vascular disorders. Presentations cover challenging situations seen in the ER, cardiac cath lab, EP lab, OR, ICU, telemetry, cardiac rehab, and outpatient clinics. Our diverse faculty spans across multiple disciplines including physicians, nurses, PAs, and pharmacists. The event also features high definition live-case demonstrations broadcast from the endovascular suites at the Arizona Heart Hospital and dedicated discussion among faculty and audience.
Workshops
Allied health professionals are an integral part of a successful endovascular surgery program. Arizona Heart Foundation partners with the medical industry to provide didactic and hands-on training for nurses, technologists and other allied health professionals in this arena. For example, radiologic technologists can gain advanced imaging experience for endovascular procedures utilizing your technology in our TRC laboratory.
