The collaboration between Maricopa County and the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) continues this year with Board approval of another round of grants from SRPMIC.  More than 20 organizations focused on health, education, homelessness and substance abuse received grants.

“Partnerships like this one are a force multiplier that can help us improve quality of life in our community in ways we couldn’t do alone,” said Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chairman Steve Chucri, District 2.  “SRPMIC has worked closely with my team for several years and I’m pleased they have agreed to fund more proven programs to help at-risk populations.”
