Arizona Heart Foundation Honored to Welcome Maricopa County Supervisor Steve Chucri
Our staff at the Arizona Heart Foundation were honored to welcome Supervisor Steve Chucri, his chief of staff Page Gonzales, and his deputy chief of staff, Nicole Bendlen.
It was a direct result of being introduced to Mr. Chucri that the Foundation received a $50,000 donation from the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. We will be working closely with both his office, the Tribal leaders and FICANA, a nonprofit already working with the Native American population in Flagstaff. Our Cardiovascular & Diabetes Initiative will be providing ultrasound screenings, disease awareness building strategies as well as nutritional counseling for those at risk.
We appreciate Supervisor Chucri taking the time to tour our facility and learn more about this very important initiative we are undertaking.
