Arizona Heart Foundation School of Ultrasound Announces New Cardiac Ultrasound Program Focused on Night Students!

The Arizona Heart Foundation School of Ultrasound runs one of the top echocardiography programs in the nation. The accelerated program allows students to finish their training and start working in the medical field in just 12 short months. With the average starting salary of sonographers being $65,000, and our job placement rate over 90%, the cardiac ultrasound program has been extremely popular with people looking to change their career and improve their job prospects.

The interest in the cardiac ultrasound program has dramatically increased over the last few years – so much so that we were nearing a point where we would have to turn away some very qualified people or increase the number of students in our annual cohorts. The leadership at the Arizona Heart Foundation School of Ultrasound did not like either of those options.  We wanted a solution that allowed qualified students to enroll without overburdening our faculty with too many students in one class.

We are happy to announce a new evening program that will expand the opportunity for qualified students to participate in the cardiac ultrasound program. Along with the increased demand of our cardiac ultrasound program, we received many requests for an evening program that allowed more flexibility for family, work, or other responsibilities earlier in the day. This new evening program has all the same great content as our original cardiac ultrasound program, but includes some important differences:

  • Program will start in January instead of June each year.
  • Class hours will be Mon – Fri, 2:30 pm – 9 pm.

Our first cohort of evening students is scheduled to start Jan 19, 2021. We are accepting applications through January 3, 2021. If you know someone who is looking to improve their job prospects in 2021, be sure to share this information with them!

Arizona Heart Foundation School of Ultrasound is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
